Shbeib Dabaja

Shbeib Dabaja is an experienced professional with a diverse background in player development and economic research. Currently serving as a Player Development Intern with the Chicago White Sox since February 2023, Shbeib has previously held significant leadership roles at the University of Michigan-Flint, including Founder and President of UM-Flint Baseball, where responsibilities included liaising with various departments to enhance the baseball program. As a Research Economist, Shbeib contributed to developing a CEDS plan to address economic challenges in the region during the COVID-19 pandemic. Leadership capabilities were further demonstrated as Vice President of Student Government and Director of Financial Affairs at UM-Flint, where budget management and student advocacy were key duties. Additionally, experience as an Oncology Research Assistant and Furniture Sales Associate, along with scouting roles at Evolution Metrix, underscore a well-rounded skill set. Shbeib holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan.
