Tara Morrow has extensive experience in education and leadership, currently serving as the Principal of Morgan County School System for PreK-4th grade since July 2012, overseeing approximately 500 students. Prior to this role, Tara was a Mathematics Teacher and Cheer Coach at Madison City Schools from 2005 to 2012, where significant achievements included directing national champion cheer teams from 2006 to 2011. Additionally, Tara worked at Decatur City Schools from 1997 to 2005, focusing on teaching Algebra and Geometry while also coaching and sponsoring various student activities. With a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education, Mathematics from The University of Alabama and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Tara possesses a solid educational foundation that supports their leadership roles. Since January 2022, Tara has also worked as a Realtor for MarMac Real Estate.
