Dallas Contreras studied marketing in college and knew that in the future he would find a way to apply those skills to the music industry somehow. While working his first job out of school, he was able to simultaneously intern at a local Seattle venue as a concert marketing intern. That was an amazing experience and solidified the fact that he wanted to be in a work environment where music was involved. For a few years after that, Dallas gained great experience at a local marketing agency but still had that music itch. Soon after hitting 3 years there, His partner and him were getting ready to move to Portland so that she could pursue her master's degree. He wanted to see what local music jobs were out there and came across his current position at Marmoset. He couldn't be happier to now be a part of a company that is so ingrained in the music community and so focused on giving back.
