Alishah Merchant

Alishah Merchant is a highly experienced software engineer with a proven track record in both leadership and advisory roles. Currently serving as Lead Software Engineer at Marqeta, Inc. since November 2021, Alishah also holds extensive experience at Sila Nanotechnologies Inc., where roles have included Software Engineering Advisor, Lead of Software Engineering, and Software Engineer since November 2013. Alishah's academic background includes three degrees from Georgia Institute of Technology: a Master of Science in Analytics obtained in 2020, a Master of Science in Computer Science earned in 2017, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry completed in 2013.
