Anna Whittemore

Anna Whittemore has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Anna started their career as an Academy Representative at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy Admissions Department in 2009 and later took on various positions within the Academy itself, including Supervisor, 2nd Company Commander, and Orientation Training and Retention Assistant/Squad Leader.

In 2011, Anna also worked as a Cadet Officer at Transoceanic Cable Shipping Company and as an Assistant Teacher/Proctor Intern/Residential Adviser at Cape Cod Collaborative Advanced Studies Leadership.

From 2013 to 2016, Anna served as a 3rd Assistant Engineer at Noble Drilling, gaining experience in power distribution and daily inspections on a deep-water drillship.

Anna then transitioned to sales and logistics roles, starting as a Sales Engineer at Karl Senner, LLC from 2016 to 2018. Later, they became a Logistics Manager at Marquette Transportation Company, LLC from 2018 to 2019 before being promoted to Vice President of Sales & Logistics Gulf-Inland in December 2019.

Additionally, Anna held the position of President for the Southeast Louisiana Chapter of the WIMOs Association starting in 2019. Throughout their career, Anna has demonstrated leadership, management, and technical skills.

Anna Whittemore attended the Massachusetts Maritime Academy from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from the U.S. Coast Guard, including Chief Engineer (Limited - Upon Oceans, Near Coastal, and Great Lakes), Chief Engineer (OSV), and Second Assistant Engineer Unlimited.
