Melissa Econom

Melissa Econom is the academic coordinator in the Department of Educational Policy and Leadership in the College of Education and serves as the vice chair of University Staff Senate. She earned a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her M.Ed. in student affairs in higher education at Marquette University. In her current role, Melissa provides academic support to graduate programs, as well as advising services to undergraduate students. Melissa currently also serves as a representative on the Innovation Council, Wellness Committee, Diversity Advocates and various university work groups. Outside of Marquette, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, leading two Girl Scout troops and serving on the Milwaukee Riverkeeper Marketing and Finance Committee.
