Amanda Marquis is a seasoned professional in the chemical and energy sectors, currently serving as Vice President and Director of Operations at Marquis Energy, LLC since October 2007. In this role, Amanda leads a research and development team focused on enhancing processes within the fuel ethanol industry, targeting improvements in energy efficiency and oil production, as well as the creation of a high-protein feed product. Previously, Amanda held the position of Plant Chemist and Quality Manager, where significant achievements included the development of comprehensive quality and training programs, along with oversight of laboratory technicians to ensure quality control for production. Prior to Marquis Energy, Amanda worked as an Analytical Chemist II at Pfizer, analyzing active pharmaceutical ingredients to verify their purity. Amanda holds a Master’s Degree in Chemistry from Illinois State University and a Graduate Certification in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Purdue University, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Illinois State University.
