Dr. Amy McConnell, DBA, CMP, CME has a diverse and extensive work experience. Dr. Amy started their career as an Admin & Marketing Assistant at Norpro Othotics & Prosthetics Inc in 1998 and worked there until 2003. From 2006 to 2008, they served as an Advertising/Marketing Assistant at AiA LogoTools and then joined Lanier & Company, PA as an Advertising and Marketing Specialist. At Lanier & Company, they directed advertising and marketing activities, managed direct mail programs, and maintained vendor relationships.
In 2008, Dr. McConnell started their tenure at Pentagon Federal Credit Union/Belvoir Federal Credit Union, where they held various roles including E-Marketing Specialist, E-Marketing and Public Relations Specialist, Digital Marketing & Public Relations Manager, and eventually Manager of Marketing and Public Relations from 2014 to April 2016. Dr. Amy was responsible for managing the company's marketing, branding, and communications, as well as overseeing digital/mobile marketing, website development, data analysis, and public relations.
From 2011 onwards, they became the President/CEO of Triple Threat Advertising, where they led a team of professionals and utilized their expertise in advertising, marketing, graphic design, and technology to develop successful campaigns and brand strategies for clients.
Dr. Amy'slatest role is as the SVP Marketing Strategy at MARQUIS since September 2016, where they focus on driving revenue at financial institutions through data analytics and MCIF & CRM software. Dr. Amy works closely with C-level and management teams to analyze and position organizations strategically to achieve marketing goals and maximize their budget with data-driven solutions.
Dr. Amy McConnell, DBA, CMP, CME has a Bachelor's degree in Advertising and Public Relations with a minor in Marketing and MIS from the University of Central Florida. Dr. Amy also holds a Doctor of Business Administration degree in Strategic Management from Liberty University and an MBA in Project Management from Strayer University.
In addition to their degrees, Dr. McConnell has obtained several certifications. Dr. Amy is a Certified Marketing Executive from the Credit Union National Association, and a Certified Marketing Professional (CMP) from DMA (Data & Marketing Association). Dr. Amy has also received certifications in Data Mining - Marketing Campaigns from NCUA (National Credit Union Administration), SQL (Structured Query Language) from Cengage Learning, and Six Sigma from the Aveta Business Institute.
