Ed Purnell

Ed Purnell is an experienced marketing professional with a focus on the hospitality sector, currently serving as Vice President of Hotel Marketing for Marriott International in the EMEA region since March 2017. Purnell has held various key positions at Marriott, including Area Director of Marketing for the UK, Ireland, and the Nordics, as well as Director of Digital Services. Prior to joining Marriott, Purnell served as Chairman of the Hotel Marketing Association and held marketing leadership roles at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, TAPPED Consulting, IHG, Jumeirah, Small Luxury Hotels of the World, and Le Meridien. Purnell holds a BA Hons in European Studies and Italian from the University of Kent and A-Levels in multiple subjects from The Oratory School.
