Sam El-Sheikh

Sam El-sheikh is an experienced culinary professional with a career spanning over two decades in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Executive Chef at Marriott International since August 2021, Sam previously held the position of Executive Chef at Crescent Hotel & Resorts from January 2015. Additionally, Sam served as the Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Director at Crescent Hotel & Resorts from January 2015 to August 2021. Prior experience includes the role of Area Executive Chef at BF Saul Properties in the D.C. Metro Area from July 2012 to January 2015, and Executive Chef at L'Enfant Plaza Hotel in Washington, D.C. from September 1998 to July 2012. Sam holds a Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management from Stratford University, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Business Management from Virginia Commonwealth University.
