Brian E. Miller

President, Vacation Ownership at Marriott Vacations Worldwide

Brian E. Miller is the president, vacation ownership for Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation and is a member of the company’s executive committee. Mr. Miller oversees the company’s global vacation ownership operations including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Resort Operations.

Mr. Miller joined the organization in 1990 as the national marketing director, and in 1994 he was promoted to vice president of marketing of the then division of Marriott International. After re-branding the company’s flagship timeshare brand to Marriott Vacation Club, Mr. Miller was tapped to lead the business’s entry into the European market as the regional vice president of Sales and Marketing for Europe and the Middle East.

Mr. Miller returned to Corporate Headquarters in 2001 as the senior vice president, Global Sales and Marketing. In this role, Mr. Miller oversaw the distribution of all company products including timeshare, fractional and residential ownership across all three of the company’s brands; Marriott Vacation Club, The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club and Grand Residences by Marriott. After the substantial adjustments necessary during the economic downturn, Mr. Miller was instrumental in the development and implementation of Marriott Vacation Club’s points-based timeshare product which was introduced in 2010 and then additionally assumed responsibility for the Customer Service operations. Upon the spin-off of Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation from Marriott International in 2011, Mr. Miller became the executive vice president for sales, marketing and service. After the acquisition of ILG in October 2018, Mr. Miller became the chief sales, marketing and service officer of the combined new company and held that role until October 2020 when he was named to his current role.

Mr. Miller is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree.
