Allison Deperi

Allison DePeri is a seasoned events management professional with extensive experience in the innovation and hospitality sectors. Currently serving as Senior Manager, Events & Community at MaRS Discovery District since July 2021, Allison leads the Signature Events project team, ensuring the successful execution of various branded and partner events while developing business processes and managing stakeholders. Prior to this, Allison held roles at MaRS from April 2016 to June 2020, culminating as Senior Manager, Signature Events, and previously as Manager and Senior Associate in events. Allison's earlier experience includes significant contributions to the Toronto 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games as Manager of Volunteer Legacy Programs and Venue Manager for Workforce Operations, fostering relationships with partners and overseeing volunteer logistics. Additionally, Allison has a background in the club and hospitality industry, managing food and beverage and events, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queen's University, where studies focused on English Language and Literature.
