Cory Mulvihill has extensive experience in innovation policy and ecosystem development, currently serving as Chief of Staff and Vice President of Ecosystem Development at MaRS Discovery District since October 2016. In this role, Cory leads efforts to establish the MaRS Centre as a globally recognized hub for economic and social impact while managing relationships with key stakeholders in innovation. Prior to MaRS, Cory held several prominent positions in the Government of Ontario, including Chief of Staff to various ministers and senior policy advisor roles, where responsibilities included advising on financial technology strategy, managing significant government budgets, and leading international missions. Additionally, Cory serves as a Board Observer for NGen Canada and a member of the Mitacs Research Council, contributing to research integrity and innovation policy. Cory holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and an Hon. B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Toronto.
