Mick Malowany

Mick Malowany currently serves as the Senior Manager of Corporate Innovation (Climate) at MaRS Discovery District, beginning in September 2023. Prior to this role, Mick held several positions at Deloitte Digital, including Innovation Strategy & Design Research Lead and Senior Consultant in Systems Engineering from August 2017 to September 2023. Mick's earlier experience includes working as a Full Stack Developer at Q4 Inc., an Associate Designer/Front End Developer at IBM, and a Mathematics Tutor for Tutor Doctor. Notably, Mick has a background in high-performance rowing, achieving recognition as Rowing Canada Male Sculler of the Year in 2014 and winning multiple medals at prestigious rowing events. Mick's education includes a Master of Philosophy in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with Honors from Harvard University.
