Dr. Cherice Roth has a diverse and extensive work experience in the veterinary field. Dr. Cherice currently holds the position of Chief Veterinary Officer - Digital Pet Health Platform at Mars Veterinary Health since July 2023. Dr. Roth is also an active member of several boards and advisory committees, including serving as a Board Member at Seattle Humane and a Member of the Board of Directors at Wallace Health. Dr. Cherice has previously held the positions of Lead Medical Advisor at KeraVet Bio, Chief Medical Officer at Fuzzy, and Chief Medical Officer - DoggyStat at Anubis Bio. Dr. Roth has also contributed their expertise as a Professional Services Veterinarian at Zoetis Inc. and as a Board Member at the Multicultural Veterinary Medical Association (MCVMA). Additionally, they have served as a Board Member - General at the Diversify Veterinary Medicine Coalition and as an Advisory Board Member at the Canadian VIBE Network. Dr. Cherice Roth earned a DVM degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from UNT Health Science Center from 2004 to 2009. Dr. Cherice also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biochemistry from UNT Health Science Center, earned during the period of 2004 to 2006. Additionally, Dr. Roth has obtained several certifications, including being an AAFP Feline Friendly Veterinarian from the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP), a Pet Nutrition Coach from the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC), and being Fear Free Certified and Human Animal Bond Certified, with the institutions for these certifications being Fear Free LLC and the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC), respectively.
