Rochelle Low has a comprehensive work experience in the veterinary field. Rochelle currently serves as the Global VP Veterinary Quality and Patient Safety at Mars Veterinary Health, a position they have held since September 2020. Prior to this role, Rochelle held various positions at VCA including Vice President of Medical Operations from October 2016 to September 2020, Pacific Northwest Regional Medical Director from April 2012 to October 2016, and Emergency Service Director and Medical Director from September 2005 to April 2012. Rochelle also gained experience as an Emergency and Critical Care Resident at Angell Animal Medical Center from July 2002 to July 2005, and worked as an Associate Veterinarian at Pets Unlimited, affiliated with the San Francisco SPCA, from August 2000 to June 2002. Rochelle began their veterinary career with a Small Animal Medical and Surgical Internship at VCA Veterinary Care Animal Hospital and Referral Center from July 1998 to July 1999.
Rochelle Low holds a Master's Degree in Health Care Leadership from Brown University, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018. Rochelle later pursued a Masters of Applied Science in Patient Safety and Healthcare Quality from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, Rochelle completed their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree specializing in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Western College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Saskatchewan, from 1994 to 1998. Rochelle began their education at the University of Victoria, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from 1990 to 1994.
