Wendy Woods-Williams has an extensive work experience in corporate affairs, communications, and public relations. Wendy is currently serving as the Vice President of Global Corporate Affairs at Mars Veterinary Health since December 2021. Prior to this, Wendy held multiple roles at KYNE, starting as an Executive Vice President in December 2014 and later becoming a Partner in May 2019. In these positions, they provided leadership for the West Coast practice and offered strategic input across the KYNE client portfolio, working with clients ranging from pharmaceutical companies to public health bodies.
Before joining KYNE, Wendy worked at Amgen, where they held various positions including Director of Corporate Affairs, Head of External Communications for Europe and EEMEA, and Bone Franchise and Lat Am Regional Lead for Corporate Communications. At Amgen, they led the European external communications team, served as a business partner to the European leadership team, and oversaw various areas of external communications such as corporate and brand communications, M&A, crisis communications, and media. Prior to Amgen, Wendy worked at Hill & Knowlton as a Senior Vice President, at Euro RSCG WW PR as a Senior Vice President, and at Edelman Public Relations as a Vice President.
At Edelman, Wendy held positions from Senior Account Executive to Vice President, working in the London office as well as in Edelman's Chicago and New York health divisions. Wendy provided strategic counsel for global accounts such as Pfizer, Eli Lilly, and AstraZeneca. Before Edelman, Wendy started their career at Knoll Communications as a Senior Account Executive and the National Council of State Boards of Nursing as a Communications Assistant. Overall, Wendy's work experience showcases their expertise in corporate affairs, communications, and public relations across various industries and organizations.
Wendy Woods-Williams earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations from Ohio University. Wendy attended the university from 1993 to 1997.
