Bethany Bernier is an accomplished professional in the field of food science and technology, currently serving as the Director of Ingredient Science and Director of Global Breakthrough Technology for Mars since September 2017. Prior to this role, Bethany held the position of Director of Global Development Engineering for New Product Development at Wrigley from March 2015 to September 2017. Bethany's extensive experience at Mars Petcare includes roles as R&D Develop Manager, R&D Product Development Manager, and R&D Scientist, focusing on innovative dry food products for pets. Earlier in Bethany's career, work as a Research Assistant in food microbiology at the University of Maine involved studying antimicrobial effects of blueberries on E. coli O157:H7. Academically, Bethany holds an AMBA from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management and a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Food Science from the University of Maine.
