Marc Owen currently serves as the Global Data & Analytics Lead at Mars since October 2020. Prior to this role, Marc was the Director of Analytics at The Engine Group from February 2018 to July 2020, where leadership of the data analytics capability in the UK was a key focus. Between September 2016 and January 2018, Marc worked as a freelance consultant at Mowen Consulting and served as the Head of Customer Analytics at British Airways on a contract basis in 2017. Marc's extensive experience in analytics includes a significant tenure at dunnhumby, where leadership of a global analytics team was emphasized. Early career stages included analytical roles at dunnhumby and Beyond Analysis, as well as establishing an analytics team for Skype’s global consumer business. Academically, Marc holds an MSc in Management Science & Operational Research and a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Warwick.
