Matthew Markiewicz

Matthew Markiewicz is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in chemistry and materials research, currently serving as a Senior Scientist specializing in Sweeteners at Mars since July 2018. Prior to this role, Matthew held positions at Brady Corporation as a Senior Chemist, leading new product development and cost-saving initiatives, and at Sealed Air Corporation as a Scientist in Core R&D, where contributions included the establishment of a molecular biology lab. Matthew's career began at BASF as a Lab Technician III, complemented by research assistant roles at UNC Charlotte and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
