Amy Mathes Ph.D., Rn, Nr-P

Amy Mathes, PhD, RN, NR-P, currently serves as the Emergency Department Nurse Manager at Marshall Browning Hospital since July 2021. Prior to this role, Amy held a position in Professional Development at Southern Illinois Healthcare from January 2014 to July 2021 and coordinated the EMS program at John A. Logan College between August 2013 and August 2015. Amy's earlier experience includes serving as a Program Coordinator at the Egyptian Area Agency on Aging from 2010 to July 2013, focusing on chronic condition management workshops, and as a Student Trustee at ISOPHE from 2008 to 2010. Amy's educational background comprises a BSN in Nursing Administration from Western Governors University, a PhD in Health Education from Southern Illinois University, and various degrees in nursing and administration from John A. Logan College and MidAmerica Nazarene University.
