Dipendra Pokhrel

Dipendra Pokhrel has a strong background in the healthcare industry, specifically in laboratory services and medical laboratory science. Dipendra is currently the Director of Laboratory Services at Marshall Medical Center, a position they have held since 2023. Before that, they worked at Dignity Health as the Regional Point of Care Coordinator from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they were the Laboratory Supervisor at Stanford Blood Center from 2020 to 2021.

Dipendra also has experience in various roles at different healthcare organizations. Dipendra served as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist travel at Plumas District Hospital from 2019 to 2020, Supervisor of Clinical Laboratory at Renown Health from 2018 to 2019, and Medical Laboratory Technologist at UNC Health Care from 2016 to 2017.

Earlier in their career, Dipendra worked as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Providence Medical Center in Nebraska from 2014 to 2016, and as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa from 2011 to 2014. Dipendra holds an MBA in Healthcare Management and is MLS (ASCP)cm certified.

Dipendra Pokhrel, MBA HCM, MLS (ASCP)cm, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2011. Prior to that, they completed a Biology program at Wayne State College from 2007 to 2010. More recently, in 2020, they earned a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Western Governors University.

Dipendra also holds several certifications. In 2017, they obtained the certification of Medical Laboratory Scientist from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), and in 2018, they became a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor certified by the State of Nevada - Health and Human Resources. Additionally, they obtained the Clinical Laboratory Scientist certification from the California Department of Public Health in 2021.

Furthermore, Dipendra has received additional certifications and honors, including being a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success, which they obtained in 2021. Dipendra also holds certifications such as Medical Laboratory Scientist (CGFNS) from CGFNS in 2014 and Leadership Wayne from the City of Wayne in 2015. Dipendra is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and obtained this certification in 2021 from the American College of Healthcare Executives of New Jersey (ACHE-NJ).
