Martin Entwistle has a diverse work experience spanning from 1993 to 2019. Martin served as the Associate Chief Medical Officer and VP Population Health & Ancillary Services at Marshall Medical Center from January 2019 onwards. Before that, they were the Founder and CEO of Ares Health Systems from March 2017. Martin was a Board Member and Past Chair at HL7 NZ from 2007 to November 2020. From December 2014 to March 2017, they worked as the Executive Director Personal Healthcare Programs at Sutter Health, where they were responsible for building and deploying system of care solutions and utilizing patient generated health data (PGHD) to support chronic care management. From August 2010 to December 2014, they served as the Executive Director Center for Health Systems Innovation at Sutter Health / Palo Alto Medical Foundation, leading the establishment and development of a department of innovation. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director Personal Healthcare Programs at Palo Alto Medical Foundation from November 2008 to August 2010. Martin has also held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Enigma CKM Inc from March 1996 to September 2008, where they implemented advanced electronic clinical decision support solutions for health management programs. Furthermore, they worked as the Group Marketing Director at Adis International from January 1993 to August 1994.

Martin Entwistle completed their education with the following degrees: an MBA from Cranfield School of Management in 1988, an FRCSEd in Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1986, and an MB, ChB in Medicine from the University of Birmingham from 1973 to 1979.
