Alan Hofmeyr

Alan Hofmeyr is a seasoned professional in quantitative research and portfolio management, currently serving as the Head of Quantitative Research at Marshall Wace since May 2008, where responsibilities include strategy development, risk management, and asset allocation. Prior experience includes a role as Head of Quantitative Portfolio Advisory at Lehman Brothers from June 2004 to April 2008, focusing on quantitative asset management and advisory services. Alan's career began at Accenture as a Manager in Strategy Consulting from September 1998 to September 2002. Alan holds an MBA with Distinction in Finance and Entrepreneurship from London Business School and a BA Hons in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham.
