Daniel Walker

Daniel Walker is an experienced professional in quantitative trading with a focus on business growth and execution platform development. As Team Lead for the Business Growth initiative at Marshall Wace since January 2010, Daniel has led a team in expanding asset classes and capabilities within the execution platform, while also actively engaging as a hands-on software engineer overseeing three direct reports. Previous experience includes a role as a C++ Execution Platform Developer, where responsibilities encompassed the development of a multi-asset execution platform, order management systems, and unit testing with Google Test. Daniel holds an MSci in Mathematics from Imperial College London and completed an Erasmus Year at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, following secondary education at Vyners School.
