Ian Worley

Ian Worley has extensive experience in the field of product design, user experience, and innovation. Ian currently holds the position of Head of Product Design & User Experience at Marshall Wace since September 2018. Prior to this, they worked as a Digital Customer Experience & Innovation Consultant at Arkh Limited from September 2017 to September 2018.

Ian Worley spent a significant portion of their career at Morgan Stanley, where they served as the Executive Director, Global Head of User Experience & Design, Institutional & Corporate Technology. During their tenure from March 2010 to August 2017, they led a global team of professionals and played a pivotal role in developing innovative client-facing and internal software solutions, including the award-winning product suite Morgan Stanley Matrix.

Before joining Morgan Stanley, Ian Worley founded Arkh ltd. in 2009, where they explored the use of Augmented Reality as a transformative medium. Ian also held the position of Director of User Experience at Flow Interactive from April 2004 to August 2009. Here, they were responsible for driving user-centered design projects and strategic initiatives.

Ian Worley started their career as the Director of Brand Experience at Brandhouse from September 2002 to May 2003, where they launched a customer experience practice to enhance brand value. Ian also served as the Chief Experience Officer at Inspired Gaming Group from June 2001 to April 2002, contributing to the acquisition of media clients and the launch of premium-rate SMS services.

In 1998, Ian Worley joined Viant ltd. as a Creative Director and played a key role in establishing the London office as a leading digital consultancy. During their tenure until April 2001, they built the creative discipline, led cross-disciplinary project teams, and fostered relationships with clients, industry partners, and academic institutions.

Ian Worley attended Bronx High School of Science from 1981 to 1984, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Following that, they enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin from 1985 to 1990 and graduated with a Bachelors of Architecture, Summa Cum Laude.
