Seb Barker is an experienced financial analyst with a strong background in macroeconomic and credit strategies. Since May 2017, Seb has worked as an analyst at Marshall Wace, specializing in macro and TOPS analysis. Prior to this role, Seb was an associate at Deutsche Bank from 2016 to 2017, focusing on CEEMEA Sovereign Credit Strategy, and at Royal Bank of Scotland from 2015 to 2016 in Macro Credit Strategy under team head Alberto Gallo. Earlier experience at Deutsche Bank from 2012 to 2015 included roles in Credit Strategy covering Global Investment Grade and High Yield credit markets in Europe, with Jim Reid as the team head. Seb began the career as an intern in equity, index, and credit research at Deutsche Bank in June 2011. Seb holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Warwick, obtained in 2012, and completed education at King's School in Grantham from 2002 to 2009.
