Armand joined MarshBerry in February 2021 and is responsible for supporting brokers in the Netherlands and Europe in their growth strategy by bringing MarshBerry’s proprietary insurance and merger & acquisition expertise to its international client base.
Prior to MarshBerry, Armand was a director at Nationale Nederlanden, the Dutch market leader in corporate property & casualty insurance. Following the acquisition of Delta Lloyd, Armand led the successful integration of the coinsurance business and positioned Nationale Nederlanden as the leading Dutch large-account insurer.
Preceding his role at Nationale Nederlanden, Armand held senior management positions at Aon both in the UK and the Netherlands. At Aon, Armand implemented a market-leading broking strategy, leading to better client outcomes and significant revenue growth. Armand also managed, and significantly expanded, Aon’s risk consulting business. Due to his six-year tenure in London working with Aon and Swiss Re, Armand has a good understanding of the London insurance and reinsurance markets as well as an extensive network across Europe.
Armand started his career as a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group. He holds a master's in physics and attended the strategic management program at IMB business school in Switzerland.
