Francesco Elia Borg Bonaci

Francesco Elia Borg Bonaci has a diverse and extensive work experience. Francesco Elia is currently working at Marshmallow as a Software Engineering Tech Lead, where they started in November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Casumo as a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) from July 2021 to November 2021. At Casumo, they were involved in developing and maintaining CRM solutions for player communication.

Before joining Casumo, Francesco worked at Ixaris Systems Ltd. as a Junior Software Programmer from July 2015 to March 2017. Francesco Elia contributed to quality software development using the Scrum methodology and was part of a code review team.

Francesco also had an internship at Ixaris Systems Ltd. in 2014 as a Software Developer Intern. During this time, they developed internal tools to improve workflow efficiency and integration with REST-based services.

In 2013, Francesco worked as an Erasmus Student Placement at NIL Ltd., where they created a web application prototype using ASP.NET MVC and the Entity Framework.

Lastly, Francesco has volunteered as a Learning Support Assistant at MITA (Malta Information Technology Agency) from October 2011 to July 2012. Francesco Elia provided assistance to visually impaired students during their course, including explaining concepts and helping with exams.
