Julien Badie is an experienced Back-end Software Engineer at MARSS Group since September 2018, specializing in security and surveillance systems for high-value maritime and land-based assets. Previously, from 2011 to September 2018, Julien served as an R&D Engineer and Doctorant at Inria, focusing on advanced projects involving person detection and tracking using video and GPS data融合, and the application of deep learning techniques for event detection. Julien also completed a three-month internship at Université de Kyushu in 2010, working on person tracking with a laser rangefinder. Julien holds a Doctorate in Computer Science from Université Côte d'Azur and a Master's degree in Research, as well as an Engineering degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from ENSEEIHT.
