Kristie Baynard is an accomplished architectural historian with extensive experience in cultural resources management and historic preservation. Since November 2015, Kristie has served as the Cultural Resources Program Lead and Principal Architectural Historian at Marstel-Day, LLC. Prior roles include Senior Architectural Historian and Commission Member for the Frederick County Historic Preservation Commission from 2010 to May 2018, and architectural historian at several firms, including The Louis Berger Group, Arcadia Preservation, LLC, EHT Traceries, and CRA. Kristie holds a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation, and a Bachelor of Arts in Historic Preservation from the University of Mary Washington.
