Becky Nussbaum is a seasoned Lighting Designer and Supervisor with extensive experience in the dance and film industries. Currently serving as the Associate Lighting Supervisor for the Martha Graham Dance Company, Becky's international touring experience includes countries such as Türkiye, China, Spain, Germany, and Italy. Additional roles include Lighting Designer for Purchase Dance Company and Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company, along with significant freelance work for Salvatore Larussa Dance Co and SPARK MOVEMENT COLLECTIVE. Becky also possesses experience in the film sector, having worked as a Testing Coordinator and Cast/BG Testing Scheduler for various Disney projects. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design and Technology from Purchase College, SUNY, Becky has a strong educational foundation underpinning a versatile and dynamic career.

Founded in 1926 by dance icon Martha Graham, the Company is recognized as both the pioneer and the champion of American modern dance. Graham’s groundbreaking technique and unmistakably American style have earned acclaim from audiences in more than fifty countries. Today, in addition to showcasing classics by Graham, the Company commissions new works from international leading artists, presenting an annual season in its home city of New York and actively touring around the globe. The affiliated Martha Graham School prepares the next generation of modern dancers, and currently trains students from 20 countries. Outreach and educational programs reach under-served students in Title I schools from four New York City boroughs. All-City Panorama provides audition opportunities to all students from NYC schools and a chance to perform on the mainstage with the Company for 35 aspiring dancers.
