Diane Early

Diane Early has a diverse range of experience as a Medical Technologist, spanning over two decades. Diane'smost recent role was at Martha's Vineyard Hospital, where they began working in November 2019 and currently holds the position. Prior to that, Diane worked at Quest Diagnostics as a Medical Technologist from February 2016 to October 2019. Diane also spent a year at Tufts Medical Center in 2014, filling a temporary position in the Hematology-Oncology Laboratory. Diane's longest tenure was at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where they served as a Medical Technologist from December 2008 to August 2014, primarily working in the Hematology Lab. Before that, they worked as a Generalist Medical Technologist at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health from April 2004 to November 2008, gaining experience in Hematology, Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Microbiology. Diane's early career started at Massachusetts General Hospital, where they worked as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in the Hematology Lab from September 1999 to September 2003. In this role, they performed complete blood counts, WBC manual differentials, and coagulation testing. Throughout their career, Diane has demonstrated expertise in various lab procedures and instruments, as well as a commitment to quality control and documentation.

Diane Early completed their Bachelor's of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist from Daemen University between 1983 and 1986. Prior to that, they attended Michigan State University from 1979 to 1981, where they studied Natural Science, but did not obtain a degree. Additionally, in June 2000, they obtained certification as an H (ASCP) from the American Society for Clinical Pathologists.
