Gregory Mathis

Gregory Mathis currently serves as Communications Manager for Martha's Vineyard Hospital, a role commenced in May 2023, where Gregory oversees both internal and external communications for Mass General Brigham. Prior to this position, Mathis worked as a Media Consultant for The Valley Breeze from January to May 2023, focusing on the editorial department's performance and digital content strategies. From May 2019 to November 2022, Mathis acted as Executive Editor for The Patriot Ledger in Quincy, MA, and had previously held the role of editor-in-chief for Wicked Local publications under Gannett and GateHouse Media. Mathis’s extensive experience in the editorial field began in September 1997 at GateHouse Media, where Gregory served as Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor for various South Shore publications. Mathis holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Bridgewater State University.
