Jean MacBarron

Jean MacBarron is an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife currently serving as a consultant at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health since April 2023, focusing on Maternal Mortality Review. With a robust background in midwifery, Jean has held positions at Martha's Vineyard Hospital and South Shore Hospital since January 2021 and April 2021, respectively. Prior experience includes a decade at Cape Cod Healthcare from 2011 to 2022, as well as roles at Crown Obstetrics and Gynecology and South Shore Women's Health, where Jean served as the Director of Nurse Midwives. Jean's involvement with Partners In Perinatal Health as a committee member contributed to the organization's mission to enhance healthcare for pregnant and parenting families. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health in Maternal Child Health from Boston University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Southeastern Massachusetts University.
