Michelle Nadeau has a long and varied work experience. From 2021 to present, they have been the VP of Brand Marketing at Martie. From 2014 to 2021, they held various roles at Timbuk2, including Head of Marketing, Global Brand Manager, Strategic Projects Lead, and Retail Marketing Manager. In 2013, they were a Consultant at OutsidePR. From 2009 to 2014, they were the Marketing Director at Moji, where they were responsible for planning and executing marketing campaigns, finding manufacturers, facilitating grass roots outreach, and expanding distribution. In 2012, they were the President of Dîner en Blanc Chicago, an international secret, pop-up foodie dining phenomenon. Michelle Nadeau obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2007, majoring in International Studies with a focus in Business Communications and French. Michelle then attended the Institut catholique de Paris in 2007 to earn an Institut de Langue et de Culture Francaises, studying Language, Art, Culture, and Cinema. In March 2019, they obtained a Retail Education Certificate from Shoptalk.
