Muqeet Kazmi

Muqeet Kazmi has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Muqeet currently serves as the Director of Quality Operations at Martin Dow Limited since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Novartis from 2016 to 2022, where they held the positions of Country Quality Head and Head of QA External Supply Operations. At Novartis, they were responsible for overseeing the contract manufacturing organization, conducting risk assessments, and leading product quality review approvals.

Before joining Novartis, Kazmi worked at RB as a Manager of QA from 2013 to 2016. In this role, they implemented quality systems, managed product and material releases, and investigated out of specification results. Muqeet also led process validation studies for drug products.

Earlier in their career, Kazmi served as the Manager of QC/QA at Sante Pvt Ltd. Pak from 2012 to 2013. Muqeet was responsible for setting up the Pharma Quality Control Laboratory, hiring and training staff, and establishing QC systems and procedures.

Kazmi's career began at sanofi-aventis, where they worked as a Manager of QC from 2001 to 2012. In this role, they reviewed documents for stability studies, ensured equipment qualification, and oversaw testing of packaging and raw materials.

Muqeet Kazmi has a diverse education history. Muqeet obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) degree from Karachi University in the years 1996 to 1999. Muqeet also completed F.Sc Pre-Medical from Govt College Formen in the years 1993 to 1995. In 2014, Muqeet earned a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from Karachi University. Muqeet then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management from the Institute of Business Administration in 2016. Currently, Muqeet is working towards an MS degree in Pharmacology at Karachi University, expected to be completed in 2022. In addition to their formal education, Muqeet has obtained several certifications in various subjects such as Learning Minitab, Mindfulness Practices, Six Sigma, Executive Decision-Making, Interview Master Class, and Lean Six Sigma Foundations. Muqeet obtained these certifications from LinkedIn in the year 2019.
