Richard Masciantonio

Head Patternmaker at Martin Greenfield Clothiers

Richard Masciantonio started their work experience in 2012 as a Master Tailor Apprentice and Head Patternmaker at Oxxford Clothes. Richard then moved on to work as an Intern at Asiatica in 2014. Later on, in 2014, Richard started working at Martin Greenfield Clothiers as a Design Development specialist. Richard currently holds the position of Head Patternmaker at Martin Greenfield Clothiers since 2016.

Richard Masciantonio's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from Columbia College Chicago, which they received from 2010 to 2013. In 2015, they attended Penland School of Craft in NC as a Technical Assistant for Japanese Shibori: Visual Language. Richard also pursued a Fellowship in Doubleweave, Double-Cloth, & Multilayer Fabrics at Penland School of Craft in 2014. Richard further enhanced their skills in Fiber, Textile, and Weaving Arts at the Chicago Weaving School in 2014. Additionally, they studied Japanese Shibori at Haystack School of Craft in ME in 2013. Prior to these experiences, Richard briefly studied Business Administration, Management and Operations at Penn State University from 2009 to 2010.
