Kirk Light

Kirk Light is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the construction materials industry. Currently serving as the Southwest Division President at Martin Marietta since May 2019, Kirk also holds the title of President for Cement and Southwest Ready Mix. Previously, Kirk spent over 14 years at CEMEX, where roles included President of the Florida Region and Executive Vice President of Logistics. Earlier career experience includes positions at Pall Corporation as an intern, and various roles at CEMEX from 1998 to 2002, including Corporate Quality Manager. Kirk Light holds an MBA from the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
