Welcome to Martin North, a family of hotels and restaurants in Cannon Beach, on the stunning North Oregon Coast. Founded in 1979 by hoteliers Steve and Jan Martin, Martin North is now owned and operated by their daughter, Stephanie, and her husband Ryan Snyder.

Our two distinctive hotels—luxe Oregon icon, the Stephanie Inn, and the award-winning Surfsand, our destination family resort—offer guests a range of activities and experiences unlike others on the Oregon coast. Kid-focused programming, conference and wedding venues, culinary adventure excursions, three restaurants and a family-friendly craft brewery round out the offerings.

But the heart of our company is the Martin North team, who show our guests every day they care about providing an enjoyable, spirit-nourishing environment. This people-first philosophy translates to guest service that’s personalized, genuinely warm and of the highest quality.

Our restaurants, the Wayfarer Restaurant and Lounge and the Stephanie Inn Dining Room, are notable for seasonal and local ingredients, innovative cocktails and an expansive Northwest wine list. The new family-friendly Public Coast Brewing Co. serves fresh, pub style fare and brews over ten beers on site, while paying tribute to Oregon’s ground-breaking Beach Bill, protecting Oregon’s 363 miles of public coastline for all to enjoy.
