Wesley McGrew

Wesley McGrew has a diverse background in cybersecurity, with experience spanning multiple roles and organizations. Wesley is currently serving as a Senior Cybersecurity Fellow at MartinFederal Consulting, LLC since October 2020.

Prior to joining MartinFederal Consulting, LLC, Wesley worked at HORNE Cyber from November 2015 to October 2020. During their tenure, they served as the Director of Cyber Operations and was involved in various activities such as developing infrastructure, tools, tactics, and processes for penetration testing and red team services. Wesley also developed software for managing collaborative teams, created a finding classification system for vulnerability remediation, conducted reverse engineering of malicious software, and conducted Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) collection, analysis, and reporting. Wesley was a frequent presenter at cybersecurity conferences such as Black Hat USA and DEF CON.

Wesley also had teaching experience at Mississippi State University, where they served as an Adjunct Professor from 2016 to 2019. Wesley was involved in research, teaching, and curriculum development in support of the university's designation as a National Security Agency Center of Academic Excellence. Wesley developed courses in software reverse engineering and contributed to the application and review process for the university's designation as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations.

Additionally, Wesley worked as a Cyber Security Consultant at McGrew Security from 2005 to 2015, providing consulting services in cybersecurity. Wesley also served as a Senior Information Technology Consultant at Politrac from 2010 to 2014.
