Parag Deshpande

Parag Deshpande is a Senior Project Engineer at Martinrea International since April 2022, bringing extensive experience in the automotive industry. Previously, Parag held the position of Senior Product Engineer at Sanoh America, Inc from June 2016 to April 2022, where engagement with multiple clients, including Honda, FCA, and VW, enhanced automotive expertise. Parag also contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant at Michigan Technological University from May 2015 to April 2016, focusing on lightweight automotive components under Dr. Gregory Odegard's guidance. Earlier, Parag gained practical experience as a Mechanical Design Intern at The Automotive Research Association of India, demonstrating sled test device functionality through design and finite element analysis. Parag holds a Master of Science in Design and CAE from Michigan Technological University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, Pune.
