Saikat Chakrabarti

Saikat Chakrabarti has extensive experience in civil engineering and project management, currently serving as Project Executive and previously as Senior Project Manager at Martins Construction Corp. since September 2011, focusing on bridge and highway projects while preparing CPM schedules per DOT standards. Prior to this, Saikat held the role of Project Manager at Desai Development Group, LLC, managing on-site activities to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completions. Saikat's early career includes an internship as a Project Controls Engineer at Fluor Corporation and a position as a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University, where research centered on contract provisions and risk allocation in design-build contracts. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (Construction Management) from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the College of Engineering.
