Amie Downs

Amie Downs has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Amie is currently serving as the SVP of Information Technology at Martin's Point Health Care since April 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of VP of Information Technology at the same company starting from July 2019. Before joining Martin's Point Health Care, Amie worked at Good Samaritan Society for a significant portion of their career. Amie served as the Senior Director of ISTS Information and Application Services from May 2014 to August 2018. In this role, they managed and oversaw various day-to-day activities and was responsible for the support and maintenance of clinical and billing applications. Amie also held the position of Director of Application Services at Good Samaritan Society from March 2013 to May 2014, where they provided application maintenance and support services to key customers. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Project Management Consultant and a Project Management Consultant II from January 2010 to March 2013 and from January 2006 to January 2010, respectively, overseeing large clinical programs and managing multiple projects. Prior to their time at Good Samaritan Society, Amie worked as a Research Analyst at Precision Computer Systems from December 2004 to January 2006. During this period, they evaluated requests for new or modified computer programs and developed software requirements based on customer needs. Amie also held roles at Good Samaritan Society as an Information Security Analyst from January 2004 to December 2004 and an Asset Management Technician from October 2001 to January 2004. Amie's extensive experience in information technology and project management showcase their expertise in these areas.

Amie Downs earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Minnesota State University Moorhead, which they attended from 1997 to 2001. Amie later pursued further education at Colorado Technical University, where they obtained a Master of Science in Management (MSM) with a focus on IT - Project Management from 2003 to 2004. Shortly afterwards, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Project Management from the same institution, completing their studies in 2005.
