David Hallbert

David Hallbert has a range of experience in the healthcare industry. David first worked as a physician at Eastern Maine Healthcare from 1996 to 2003. David then owned and operated their own private practice from 2003 to 2007, where they implemented innovative healthcare systems. In 2007, they joined Martin's Point Health Care as an internist and also became the Practice Medical Director. David remained with Martin's Point Healthcare until at least 2016, serving in various roles including internist, Bangor IS Manager, and Practice Medical Director. Additionally, they worked part-time as a per diem internist at EMHS from 2016 to an unknown date. Throughout their career, Hallbert has focused on improving healthcare systems and achieving measurable improvements in patient care.

David Hallbert earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Wildlife Management from the University of Alaska Fairbanks between 1972 and 1975. David then pursued further education at the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University, where they obtained a medical degree (MD) in the field of Medicine from 1975 to 1982.
