Heather Allen

Heather Allen has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Heather began their career at Unicel Corporation in 2004 as a Team Lead, where they worked until 2007. Heather then joined Unum as a Claims Assistant, specializing in Portability & Conversion, from 2007 to 2008. Following this, they worked at Anthem, Inc. as a Provider Inquiry, Claims & Benefits Researcher from 2008 to 2011. Heather Allen's most recent position is with Martin's Point Health Care, starting in 2011. Heather initially held the role of Business & Systems Analyst II and is currently serving as a Senior Health Plan Data Analyst. In their current role, they analyze data, develops recommendations for revenue optimization, identifies process improvement opportunities, and educates leaders on health plan data optimization.

Heather Allen completed their education with a High School Diploma from Nokomis Regional High School in 2001. Heather went on to pursue further studies and obtained an Associate in Applied Science degree in Medical Coding & Electronic Health Records from Central Maine Community College in 2016. Continuing their educational journey, Heather completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Technology from Southern New Hampshire University in 2021.
