Callie Hietala

Callie Hietala is a seasoned professional in communications, community outreach, and arts administration. Currently serving as the Communications & Community Outreach Coordinator for Martinsville City Public Schools since August 2022, Callie has previously worked as a Reporter for Henry County Enterprise, where responsibilities included covering local government meetings and events. At the William King Museum of Art, Callie held several roles over a span of nine years, ranging from Curatorial Assistant to Digital Marketing Specialist, including management of community programs and exhibitions. Callie's educational background includes a BA in English and Classical Studies from William & Mary, along with additional training from Southeast Tourism Marketing College and the University of Cambridge.
