Bert Haalboom

Bert Haalboom is a seasoned educational professional with extensive experience in teaching and leadership roles. Currently serving as Schoolleider atheneum en gymnasium and Teamleider vwo-bovenbouw at Martinuscollege since September 2009, Bert specializes in physics and NLT, focusing on ICT integration to enhance student motivation and differentiation. As the owner of Haalboom Onderwijs & Innovatie, Bert engages in writing educational materials, providing consultancy on educational innovation, and conducting workshops. Previously, Bert held the position of Steunpuntscoördinator Natuurkunde at Its Academy - Universiteit van Amsterdam, where responsibilities included expanding a network of physics teachers. Bert's early career includes guiding school groups at Teylers Museum and mentorship as a PAL-student at Martinuscollege. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Natuur- en Sterrenkunde from the University of Amsterdam and a Master's in Education (Cum Laude) from the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
