Cathy Baars

Cathy Baars has extensive experience in the field of education and research. Since February 1995, Cathy Baars has served as a Docent Natuurkunde at Martinuscollege, teaching physics to students aged 15 to 18. Prior to this role, Cathy Baars worked as an Onderzoeker at NIOZ Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research from September 1989 to May 1994, focusing on deep sea currents south of Iceland. Cathy's academic journey began at the Academic Medical Center, where research on blood flow through heart blood vessels was conducted from September 1987 to May 1989. Cathy Baars holds a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Amsterdam, completed in 1989, and previously attained VWO certification from St. Ignatiuscollege between 1979 and 1985.
