Lisa Valade-Demelo

Lisa Valade-DeMelo has accumulated a solid background in research and communications over the years. Starting in 2001, they held various roles in the government sector, including as a Media Analyst and Issues Management/Media Relations Officer. Lisa then transitioned to the research field, working as a Research Analyst for the Government of Canada before moving on to EKOS Research Associates Inc. as a Senior Research Analyst. In 2006, they joined Ipsos MORI, where they rose to become an Associate Director and Operational Director of the GP Patient Survey. Lisa'slatest role has been with Maru/Blue as the Senior Vice President of Research, where they advise clients in North America on leveraging primary research and insights to solve business challenges. Lisa'sexperience demonstrates a strong foundation in research, project management, and strategic communications.

Lisa Valade-DeMelo completed their Bachelor of Arts in History at Queen's University in 1997. Lisa then went on to study Anthropology and Medical Geography at the University of Toronto from 1997 to 2001. Lisa later obtained a Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction from UCL in 2014.
